turbo twist wheels
Good Day Everyone,
I need some input....... Bought a 98 C2S in 2005 and it came with 17" non-turbo twist wheels, 205 tire size in front, 255's in back, with spacer offsets on the rear. Is this an anomaly, or is this the normal configuration from the factory with the 18" turbo twists as an option?
Anyone know?
Would like to replace tires and wheels with the "twists" any information that might be helpful would be appreciated.
Thanks, Bob W

The 17" "Cup II" wheels were standard equipment on the C2S (spacers on the rear) with hollow spoke 18s an option.
Goint to the 18" "twists" is as simple as finding a set for widebody application (WBs have a 40mm offset on the rears, fronts are identical for WB and NB) and removing the rear spacers. There are also solid spoke versions available.

Hi Tim,
Thanks for the information.
One other quick question, it sounds from your reply, that there are turbo twist applications for both narrow body and wide body, as I read you. So, that means I look for a 40mm WB offset in the two rears. Just to be sure, what is the offset for a NB car turbo twist in the rear, and how does one measure it to be sure that what I'm looking at is apples and not oranges?
Again, thanks for your time.
Regards, Bob W

NB rear offset for 18" wheels is 65mm. Easier to simply read the offset stamped into the wheel rather than trying to measure it.
You can use a NB 18" rear wheel with the spacer.
