Burning Brakes
Joe,
I am curious about the forward shift linkage bracket. Why was it extended out with the tab? If I am not mistake the OEM pivot point is right between the two mounting bolts. I am assuming this was done to accomodate the extra length of the heim joints which were welded in... but if there was a functional purpose I would love to hear about it.
Is the green car in your avatar your 1995 3.8? That's insane if it is!

Actually I took the pic of the forward bracket backwards. The leg of the T should actually face the other way (ie: rear of car). There are two attachment points there, one in the stock location and one that sits a little furthur aft. I put i there because I could not get the shifter where I wanted it in the stock location.
...yep, that's the 95 3.8 in the avitar.

Regarding C4, you need to flip over the approx 1" diameter rod the shifter console rides on (RS shifter lever longer). If C4, you can not do that (because of drive shaft that goes fwd) so shifter rods sticks out below tunnel cover.
