Wednesday Morning PSA: One of the gas stations we visited on Saturday stole my card's info. There have been several fraudulent gas purchases on my account in Southern NJ, VA, and NC. The bank noticed it today, cancelled the card, and will reimburse me. Annoying but not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. My advice is check your accounts for any unauthorized purchases...

The Exxon on Route 4 in Englewood and the Sunoco in Lake George.

That sucks to hear Ilko. I just checked my CC account on line and there is no problem with me. Perhaps its the gas station in Englewood?

Yeah, not a big deal, just annoying. Could be the Englewood station. Or it could be that a particular pump was used to collect the card info, who knows. I was pretty selfish at the Sunoco and didn't move my car after I was done pumping gas

Got it...thanks. I paid cash in Englewood but used my cc at the Sunoco in Lake George. I will check with my bank today for any unauthorized charges in the past few days. Cheers.

Thanks for the heads up. Just checked my AMEX and all is ok. I did purchase gas at the Sunoco Lake George and on the NYS Thruway on the way home.
