Carrera S gray door sills plastic or SS?
Title says it all really.
I wonder if the standard door sills of the Carrera S (the gray ones) are just regular plastic NB items painted stahl grau or if they are stainless steel ones painted stahl grau? I always thought they were stainless but I never bothered to check on my previous two cars... Any help appreciated.

Standard S sills are plastic, w silver paint I believe. I also have some stainless sills with the Carrera S etched into the metal that I believe to be factory parts, to be installed eventually.
