Couldn't resist posting a couple of shots of my baby just before winter hybernatio. In case you don't recognize, it's Mirage Metallic.

Yes, there are downsides to putting away our cars for the winter. On the other hand, when they come out again in the spring it is like Christmas all over again.

I don't believe I have ever seen Mirage Metallic. Would love to see some pic's of the car-especially in different lighting conditions.

Absolutely love your color. First 993 I've seen in this color and I thought I had seen quite a few. Definitely a "paint to sample" color I would consider on a new order. That color with a Cocoa interior and I could be very happy!

Very nice...

In those pics, it looks an awful lot like Zermatt Silver to me, which is my favorite Porsche color of all time.

Actually this color was a standard offering on '98 cars because it was offered on the 996:

Per the Porsche "Red Book"', Mirage Metallic, paint code T1, was optional on the 996, but would have been a PTS color on the 993.

Actually, it's listed as paint code 554 in the 'Special Order' list of paint colors available for 993 from the factory. Not sure what the 'red book' source of information would be ....
