I have the wheel and airbag if you are interested. I really haven't looked at it too closely, so I am not sure of it's exact condition, but the car only had ~45k miles on it when it came out. I'll dig it out tomorrow and take pictures if you're interested.

Really not sure what it's worth......but I'll make you a heck of a deal. I might even be interested in the 3-spoke that is in your new car, assuming you are replacing it.

I have both from my 1998 Carrera 4 cabriolet
The boot will come with the shifter which has the titanium gear pattern cap
The car had 12850 miles when I removed them and condition is PERFECT
$400 + shipping for both

 

Sorry no airbag

 

But I also have classic gray handbrake that I can throw in for the $400 instead

 

If there are multiple classic grey shifter boots available I'm also looking.

I also have a Classic Grey 4 spoke wheel that came out of my '98 Cab when it had 24K miles. It's perfect... the PO kept a cover on it the whole time to keep the Las Vegas sun off. With airbag: $250 shipped to lower 48.

I have a steering wheel and airbag in excellent condition as well. Out of my previously owned 18k miles '97 Coupe.

 

As per my signature, I'm also looking for a Carrera S shifter, e-brake and the gray door sills..

I know of stock shifters and ebrakes as well as MY02 (996), but what is a
Carrera S shifter and ebrake? Does it look different?

They are like the aluminum optioned parts, but in a gun metal finish.
