saw this on the local forum...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1974-...bdc1fd4f#v4-42

It is a beautiful car. Every panel, every transition, every area of the car was massaged. The metal work is fantastic on the car. I spoke with the owner Thursday night and he wouldn't even estimate the time he had in it (he did all the work), but said he has way more $$$ in it. He said probably as much as a new GT3

It has a carburated 3.6? (i think), chopped 2" at the a-pillar and sails, shaved door handles, steel flares, running 265's in the rear (dont remember fronts), full custom interior, plexi side windows, steel hood with trick fuel fill cutout, on and on....

It is the most trick custom 914 I have ever seen. Lots of people took pics of this one, i am sure they will post. Mine were taken with my GoPro and dont do the car justice. It is a must see 914. If you didn't go to Medford, seeing this car alone was worth the trip!

What was the old saying - there is an *** for every seat? My *** doesn't like this particular seat. Although I appreciate the labor that went into it, there are certain things I would've done differently. And that's the main reason why a car like this would take forever to sell. It takes a long time to find someone who has the exact same mindset as the person who built this 914.

I'd much prefer a 914-6 than this modded one. Don't like the roof line at all.

After looking at his photos on his eBay ad, and seeing the model he has posing by the car in some of the shots, I can say with great certainty that he has better taste in cars than women.

I like some of the styling, especially the roof not looking like its an after thought as the 914 targa's seems to be. However its is now a fixed roof, so achieving the proper look with a removable roof is much harder.

WTF with moving the key position to the right and under the dash??? On the left was one of the small pieces of true Porsche (911) in the 914.

eBay doesn't allow the sale of humans or most all body parts, so you can be assured (thankfully) that the girl does not come with the car.
See link below... yeah, for entertainment value I bothered to look it up!

the left key position was only in the factory 914/6's. I didnt even check to see if this one started off life as a real 6. However, that still doesnt explain the under dash placement which is silly.
