Default Ruf 18s rubbing?!

Hi guys,

Anyone had any experience with this? I have a set of Ruf 18s with MO30 springs and shocks. The tires are rubbing only on the driver's side front. Everywhere else is fine. Running 225-40-18.

I was running 235-40-18 no rubbing and now this...!

Let me know and thanks!

Is it rubbing inside or outside?

Coop,
Where does the tire touch - the fender opening, the plastic liner, or the inner (body) structure of the wheel well?

Horrible problem. You shouldnt have to deal with these problems, so sell your rims to me. I will find a way to "make them work" on my car.

Inner wheel ....

Looks like the front offset is off. This is the first I have heard about a 225/40/18 rubbing.

Start with adding a 5mm spacer to both front corners.

Hi guys (Andreas), its rubbing on the inner body wheel well when turning left. I really don't want spacers... Rears are fine.

Crazy question but are they real RUF wheels?

Thumbs up Rubbing...

Had the same issue with mine (real RUF's).
Fix it with 7mm spacers.

225x40/18 with M030 setup on a 95 cab. No issues. Like others have said, consider H&R concentric spacers---may even boost the appearance.

May even be a mechanical issue--worth checking out.

After having my mechanic check it out, the Rufs have a 10mm difference in offset and spacers are needed up front. Max 7mm. A bit dissapointing, but the wheels are on and I'm happy. Thanks guys for all your feedback.
