...for basic maintenance on my 993, also for basic maintenance on my '03 BMW X5, as well as minor body work such as dent repairs (utmost quality work for the latter wanted). Thks.

I used Lynmor for my PPI. They seemed great and honest, but were a bit to far away for me. Try these guys (they are in Queens)if they are closer/more convenient. I had a positive experience there.

We trust Taso and Richie at TKX performance. Huntington Station. They work on porsche, bmw, and exotic brands.

I've had my 993 serviced by Bill Rudtner (Freeport) for the last 6+ years.
The guy eats, breathes and $!%#$ Porsches. The work he does is top notch and his rates are pretty decent actually -- sometimes even on the low side.

Check out: http://www.rudtnersracing.com/index2.php

(And tell him Gerry (Helicopter Pilot) sent u.)

I would go with Taso at TKX also. There is a body shop a few shops down called Diamond Collision (i think thats it) that did a few odds and ends for me a few years ago, price and work was good.
