I have a set of CW rings. Great quality and one of those items that, if available, would buy a set. They will be one of those rare and legendary items that people will talk about some day. Glad I have a set to call my own. Somehow, they match the control arm bushings.

some use double sided tape. I used art clay, purchased at Micheal's. I rolled it out to a long thin piece, then applied it to the back of the ring. then press the whole thing into place. Never had an issue with them in 4 years. the trick is to roll the clay REALLY thin, so you don't get a bunch of excess oozing out. It is also reversible, but who would want to?
thin double sided tape would work well also.

I posted this to the original thread on the trim rings - it still sounds like the best solution for affixing the rings:
After benefitting from tons of advice on this great site, I think I finally have new and useful piece of info to contribute.
My car was at the body shop when my rings arrived. I asked by body shop guy how to best affix the rings and he pulled out a new(ish) 3M product called: Press-In-Place Emblem Adhesive. It was amazing - he just rolled the rings on the adhesive and then affixed them in place. They are flush and strong. Totally flush since the adhesive is only a thin residue.
