I don't know of any specific one (my wife knows of a white/black/red one she would like to sell though). But in general now is a good time to buy, prices are down.

This car is for sale at Kelly-Moss ... a real RSR and to be honest, it seems cheap when you look at what you're actually getting for a little more than Turbo money ... asking $119,500 and I'm sure in this economy that's VERY negotiable ...
This RSR has been raced in only 6 races - total: Daytona/Rolex 24 Hours (twice),6 Hours at The Glen (1st place ), Three club races. Following its last race this car was completely rebuilt - engine, suspension, transmission . Since that rebuild, it has been on the track for only 6.5 hours of light testing and Public Relations activities (driving reporters around the track). The car has been properly stored for the last year and a half, and so the owner has finally decided it is time to sell it. This is perhaps the only '97 RSR out there that has never bent any metal. It has never hit a wall or tire barrier. Extras include Motec data acquisition system, AJR endurance fuel cell, Air Jacks, 2 extra sets of BBS wheels.

PM tbernard aka Todd Bernard. He has a really nice red/black, H class 993 with Motons, ring and pinion, turbo brakes, full cage, etc. that he would like to sell. Also PM Nader Fotouhi who now owns John Haas' old white/black, G class 993. I've raced against John's and his car many times, and it's very quick. Has JIC's, full cage, data and other goodies.

I don't know exact figures but the RSR motor may be around double to rebuild and rebuild more frequently - runs fewer race hours.
It also takes a higher level of driver skill to make an RSR turn faster laps than a cup car and/or maximize performance. For instance, many of the top 911 drivers at your local DE, may not be able to turn a much faster time in the RSR than the Cup.

plus - look at the cost of entry on the current 997RSR, around 380,000 euro. There are not even that many sanctioned race teams that buy these things.
I think you can get into a new cup car for half
