Default LWF: Yeah but...

Ok, the benefits of LWF vs DMF have been discussed. and it is generally accepted that the LWF is the way to go. BUT...

are they all the same? I have come across Spec, AASCO and Fidanza, and I am sure there are others, is one better than the other[s]?
Looking to go with a LWF soon, but not sure which one, although leaning towards just getting the full Spec kit from FDM, unless it makes sense to use one of hte other LWFs.

I got the full kit from FDM and am happy. Comes complete with every needed part and has been trouble free from day 1. You will love the upgrade.

Yeah get the complete kit from them. I bought a used one from Pelican and was told it would just bolt-on to my car. Ha.ha....the guy was a Porsche mechanic so I trusted him. Boy o boy, I had to buy the missing parts and the hard part was figuring out what parts to buy. Good thing a RL member from London helped me in my thread.

Or you can get the OE stuff from Sunset. Not too hard to get all the required part numbers here on Rennlist as they've been listed numerous times along with PET diagrams.

FDM. Right parts. Excellent service. Being able to call them halfway thru a project and get answers is priceless.

FDM sells the LWF kit with a Sachs Flywheel.

Is there ANY benefit to using an AASCO flywheel? or Fidanza? or?
are they even compatible?
