Have read post reference idle issues with interest as that is were I am right now. I just had a M84 installed and tuned but have not been able to resolve the idle issues. Car when warm idles at 1200 ( fairly stable) - Engine will not start unless you give throttle and will not idle when cold unless you hold a little throttle in. Engine is a 3.6 in my 964 with a Varioram and a 964 ISV (2 wire). I am going to guess that I need to work on the PID settings, but have NO IDEA of were to begin or what numbers to even start with. The tuner that help tune the M84 was able to get the idle down in the 900 RPM range, but the engine was not stable and would quit. At 1200 warm the idle is stable. Here is a pic of my current PID numbers as set by the tuner used. Once past idle car runs fine, but idle is far from satisfactory, and know better can be had after reading comments here.
