I did not think that 95’s had OBD plug or OBD info available, I have a 95 and it has an OBD plug on the driver side of the console. I have a code reader that also can read real time info from the sensors. Anyone know what type of info would be readable from that plug?

1995 USA 993s had OBD1 and the later 993s had OBD2. OBD1 is less stringent than OBD2 and doesn't throw CELs for some of the same conditions that will on OBD2. Check the build date for your 1995.

If you have a normal code scanner, it will just test all your readiness monitors and show any fault codes, which you can then look up in the manual or online. If you have the Porsche PS-whatever software, that's where you can really test everything out with it. I don't know what they're using now, but the last time one was hooked up to my car, they were running around $10k.
