Have a spare battery available for you remote at all times.

I got caught at the track Thrs. AM w/ a dead remote battery, was very fortunate to find a store open that early w/ the correct battery

My immobilizer is bypassed but the alarm and door locks are still in the loop, very embarrassing when you use the key to open the door

When exactly did these hit production? My early '94 build M718 '95 is strictly "old school".

Here's what I'm using to always have a remote battery. Absolutely perfect fit. The o-ring sealed cylinder cost about 1 or two bucks.

My late prod 95, June 95 to be exact, has the immobilizer and no basket handle.
