I was at the race on Sun and only one 993 representing in the car corral!
It was white with 996 sport classics. Clean car.
Mine was absent because it is still living in the body shop waiting to get the rear window rust repaired.

I drove up from VB for the weekend with a few other PCA First Settlers members. The Porscheplatz was well attended on Fri/Sat, thinner on Sun. Need to step it up a notch in the Platz. The Corvette folks had a better setup and more going on in their tent.
Agreed that the city and organizers did a great job pulling this event off. After the 5 hour delay Fri AM due to safety concerns on the course (light rail tracks, etc), it appeared that it generally went off w/o much issue the rest of the weekend. Great access to the paddocks, although the car club grandstand location kinda sucked, so view of the races wasn't great w/o wandering elsewhere.

Bumping an old thread...
I'm thinking of driving down this year on Saturday for the ALMS race... Have a few questions:
How easy is it to walk the track? I know it's a street course and there are barricades, etc. but I'd like to explore the corners and don't want to be stuck in my seat for the whole race. For those of you who were there last year, does a general admission ticket give you good opportunities to watch the race from different corners?
Porscheplatz parking - how early do you need to get there in order to secure a spot? I understand parking is limited to 200 cars, what do you think is a cut off time? And, from what I've read there will be "parade laps" offered this year to the first 50 cars. Did that happen last year as well on the Saturday before the race?
And here's a link to some pics I took from the last ALMS race at Lime Rock. As you can see, I like to walk the track during the race
