my CE light is on every time I turn on the engine cold. When it warms up, it turns off....Im not sure what this means....

 

Assuming you have a '96 or newer car, you need to get an OBDII scanner (OBDI for 95's), or borrow one, or have a shop connect one up to your car and read the fault codes. Your CE light could be due to any of a number of reasons, the codes will tell you what's triggering the light. Then you go from there.
