Chuck is one of the good guys... we meet too few of those. I was also on that 2008 Trip to Ruf Dallas that Terry mentioned, and had the pleasure to meet Chuck and get to know him a bit. A mench.

Ms. Sertich sent me a similar e-mail this morning but I could not log onto this forum at work. thus I was late to this thread.

Chuck is a super nice guy. A perfect gentleman. We need more like him in this world. Whether we believe in the power of prayer or not, let's give this our best try.

Chuck buddy, we are all pulling for you. You will be constantly in our prayers. As I have said before, if you visit our area, my humble Ruf is your rental car. This is a standing invitation.

I too got the email this morning and it tore me up all day long. I can say, without a doubt, that Chuck is the nicest guy I've "met" on Rennlist. We've never actually met face-to-face, but we've become great online "buddies" and shared many PMs back and forth over a range of topics, whether it was Porsches, Recaro seats, liver transplants, or him giving me advice as a new dad.

There's not really much I can say other than Chuck and his family are in my thoughts and my family and I are praying for them.

I only recently had the pleasure of meeting Chuck after nearly 7 years of getting to know each other on the forums. The guy is a class act and I enjoyed getting to check out his car and chatting with him. My heart goes out to Chuck and his family.
