Cut and paste......interesting article that is very similar to what has been written about the 993........thanks for sharing.........I always look forward to driving my 993.......unique car........

Nice article. A couple of inaccuracies include that the 996 actually weighed less than a comparable 993. Also, our 993 do not have double wishbone rear suspensions.

The authors conclusions are right one.

I still will always miss my 993, I don't think I can buy another one for myself. But after doing a very spirited test drive around Downtown LA in a 997 a few weeks ago, I can say that we will be looking at a 993 for the misses as her next car. Yes this was her thought after sitting in the back of the 997 as I tested some limits around here. I like the review, as it seems pretty fair and isn't exactly biased either way, obviously both are very very very nice cars.
