Front Droplink replacement?
Gents,
I have a drivers side droplink with a torn boot. Replacement is on its way.
Anything I should know about the install?
I'm assuming a simple bolt/nut on the swaybar side and a nut on the hub side?
Can I just tap the balljoint out of the hub or will I need a picklefork/ball joint press thingie?
Thanks all.

The drop link is a stud/nut combo on the bar end, and a stud on the hub end. It threads directly into the hub body and has a washer between it & the hub.
Very, very easy swap.

ok gents, one more quick question.
On PET it looks as though the drop link goes to the inside of the swaybar, but in practice this seems odd if not impossible.
Can someone confirm that the droplink bolts to the bar from the outside, not the inside?
Thanks (and yes I know I should have checked that before removing.

Keep in mind to pay attention to its position for best fit at ride height, not at full droop -- this changes the kinematics somewhat.
Also, be sure to carefully start the thread at the upper stud side first as it is easy to cross thread it into the upright.

Yeah, getting the hub section started is a bit of a pain, but that wasn't an issue.
I can't see how the links could go on the inside, so on the outside they go.
thanks for the input Chris.

Funny, I need to tackle this as well. Do you need to remove the brake disk to access the bolt/nut combo on the upright? Did a quick glance and count see where to access the nut in the upright. Thx

That would be outside, wouldn't it?
