I know, right? I actually figured it out with a little help and encouragement ..
Sure, no worries. I wanted a U.S. Spec 993 Speedster, just like I imagined it would have looked if I had been able to order it new through a dealer in the U.S. in 1998. That was my fantasy for this car, and since I was paying the tab, I got what I wanted.
I realize it isn't everyone's fantasy, even Jerry Sienfeld has replaced his U.S. spec front bumper on his 993 Speedster with a Euro cover after it arrived in the U.S. ... and I totally 'get' the clean look of the European/R.O.W. bumpers AND if I were to move to Europe and buy a 993, I would certainly enjoy the car's look ... but I prefer a U.S. spec car to have all the U.S. spec parts on it and look like a U.S. spec car, and if you look closely, you will also see that I kept the headlight washer system and nozzles as well .. that's just my taste and preference, no offense meant to anyone who prefers something else.
