'92 C2 Driver window noise
Hi All,
I'm new to this forum with my newly acquired '97 993. The problem I'm having is that when the window is at it's closed position while the toggle switch is depressed upwards, it makes a noise as if trying to rise some more. What could be the problem? Window regulator mechanics? Motor? Stop switch (if it exists)? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance...

Yeah I figured I need to open her up. I just thought that maybe someone had the same experience...
The sound is a loud tick tick sound as if the motor teeth is slipping past the regulator teeth since the window glass can no longer travel past it's max when closed.
Is there a travel limit switch in there? Just a thought...
Thanks for the reply CACTUS, I'm located in the SF, CA...
