Default ALIGNMENT RECOMMENDATIONS?

STOCK 1996 C4S, NORTH AMERICAN RIDE HEIGHT.

REAR TIRES ARE WEARING THE INSIDES FASTER THEN IT SHOULD.

WHAT ALIGNMENT SHOULD I ASK FOR STREET USE, EVEN TIRE WEAR?

How many miles on your suspension? Could be worn shocks and struts
What brand of tires are you running? Some have a very low wear rating
Define "Faster then it should?" Porsche 911s are not generally known for saving tires compared to regular cars
Do you have any info (specs) on the previous alignment? Could help figure out what's going on. Another piece to the puzzle

Some good questions from Darin (as usual)

Usually the biggest culprit for abnormally high rear tire wear is toe, these cars are very sensitive to toe from both a handling and tire wear perspective.

Basic Specs I find good for fast street/ occasional track

Front:
Camber = -1 to -1.3
Toe = 0 each side
Castor = Max Available, equal each side

Rear:
Camber= -1.2 to -1.5
Toe = 2mm toe in each side (4mm total)

thanks folks.

the car has 43000kms. Bone stock. Shocks still feel decent but i have a set of H&R coil overs on the stash just incase for when the time comes.

PS2 295 tires. I cored the inner rears while the fronts are still good. The outside of the rears were still decent and by rights i could have flipped them sooner to squeeze extra life.

i now have fresh 315 PS2 on the rear.

Street car--stay stock. I drove my 4S from my purchase at 99K to putting the PSS9's on at 125K on the original shocks, with negligible abnormal rear wear on S02s. I wouldn't have changed them out, except for the fact that I got lazy pulling it out the trailer and ran over one of my ramps on the side. Flipped up and speared a sidewall. Rears were still showing 4-5/32.

~10K now that it's lowered and slightly more aggressively aligned with the Hankooks, and I decided to flip the rears as they were just starting to show some inner wear. I'll guess they will go to 20K total before I need to replace them.
