Interesting...most of the locations in NY are unbranded gas. So which is worse? Unbranded with no ethanol, or branded with?

I've always believed (which is the key word...no facts to back it up) that the unbranded was probably lower grade (not talking octane) gasoline in terms of cleanliness, quality, etc.
