Welcome to the 993 forum. Beautiful car...keep it as it is...unless of course you can afford RUF or Speedlines....but the factory wheels are classic on the Targa IMHO.

dont do a damn thing.

get a set of Fister mufflers, but that it is.

the targa wheels are what make the model special. the glass top is alot of fun!

stick with the stock 17" to reduce stress on the roof
and just lower the car to ROW height. it will look sharp.

I just got 6mm spacers for my c2 running stock 17" rims.
It fill sout nicely - but the front could do with a little more.
I got around 8 turns on the nuts.

Polman - you've had 5 964's and now 3 993's - what's going on man ?

I know.... it is the fixing that turns me on. Buying and trading parts makes it rater cheep. I buy one...fix it to perfection...then I sell and hopefully make some money on it. I think I will settle down with a 997 4S targa in a near future...paid in cash. My wife hates Porsches...so I will switch her at the same time for a happy, horny and humorous wife
