Track tires

The usual combination is 245/35 & 285/30. If nothing else the f/r tire heights are closer to being equal. Closer to equal is better for ABS function.

I just mounted up some new (but old, date-wise "junk") Hoosiers yesterday. 245/275 X 17, though. Size-wise everything should be fine, but I can report back after Thursday to let you know about any issues v. 245/285 RA1s.
Bigger question is what you hope to accomplish. Are they quicker? Sure. How's your tire management? You'll start driving by thinking about heat cycles, unless you're budget unlimited.
Absent the need for maximum performance in a competitive, timed environment I wouldn't spend the money. Even if not, until the car is prepped otherwise to 100% you won't be able to take advantage of what they really offer anyway.

I've occasionally run 295/35-18 MPSC's, and they work just fine on my very low car (some rubbing on the oil line even with the 285 but not a big deal). Keep in mind that camber settings and car-to-car difference mean YMMV, but I think you should be okay. The 245/35-18 tire in front will fit, but I do get some rubbing.
