RS ride height. The wheels are Fiske anodized black. In the right light they look purplish which really compliments the car. The Arena Red color has two different shades. One is brownish (which I had before) and the other a nice deep red. The latter is spectacular! I’ve got the car running perfectly too. Close to 600hp with all the good RS suspension bits. I am one happy camper!

 

Just had my whole car redone- new bumpers, rockers, windshield, all new seals, clear bra and full down to metal repaint

Beautiful colour on a 993.

Inspired me to paint my 992 turbo calipers arena red metallic to match the black bordeaux interior.

Guards red has way too much orange for me and black was to bland for a black vehicle.

Found this quote after quite some time looking for an article I saw years and years ago. Felt right to add to this thread. This was from a 996 C4 that Hunter S Thompson was given to test drive. Article was in the San Fran Examiner (I think). I held onto this quote for years and then lost it. Refound a few months back on an obscure old blog

HST: Arena Red is a sexy color. I was thinking it was more in the area of Chinese red. Arena Red is a deep red. It's very sexy. It's a wonderful night driving car. It's almost invisible. This is a stealth car. This is a magic color. I was prepared for a bright red. I found myself thinking, What color is that? Ferrari and Jaguar have never done a car this color. Today, I drove the car right up to the front window of the Woody Creek Tavern and had my boys go over it. I thought I'd show it off a bit. Boy, that Arena Red is beyond sexy. It's a deeply seductive and compelling red. I've never seen anything like it. I heard some thugs sort of admiring the car and I heard the lead thug say,

"Hey we should buy one of these." I was just inside waiting for my hot dog, trying to be very inconspicuous.

 

I would have gone PTS if I could have...godly.

I continue to love this color more & more. Looking out over the hood of the car and seeing that deep burgundy tone; the next moment it’s parked on the side of the street and it’s almost crimson.

 

I almost bought an Arena Red C4S, from Zed (RL member) a long time ago for $59,000. He changed his mind and decided not to sell.
