Considering selling the 96 C4S..
Great Car. Sport Seat Option, 030 Sport Suspension, Motor Sound, 6 speed, Aftermarket Sound, 996 Turbo S wheels 98% Tires, Front and Rear Radar.
Polar Silver/ Blue Interior.
Originally a Canadian Build Car.
The car is Garaged, and driven on weekends when I have the time. My DD is an old Subaru and I have a 997 C4S that I spend more time with on nice days.
This car should go to someone who will drive it and love it as it should be.
No SAI issues no CEL's. Runs strong. 48K Miles
I think mid to upper 30's would be a fair price.

I would think in the mid 30s it will sell VERY fast.
I can sort of relate to how you feel. When we had both a 68 912 and a 80 911SC at the same time, the older car simply didn't get used very much.
Even at high 30s, it sounds like a good buy.

Its a really good car, and I'm figuring that the next owner will want to put new plugs, wires, cap, rotor. It runs fine, but its due, just for age . That has some expense, and rather price it higher, I would think mid to high 30's would be fair.
I had the bumperettes removed as well and the nose is smooth and there's no chips in the paint.
I truely love these cars, the sound, the driving, and the looks. But, its not just a 3000lbs piece of art, it should be driven more.
I'm sure people will say sell the 997 and the Subaru, and drive this...but where I work, its not a good place to park, and I'm only 3 miles from work...so short trips are not so good for 993's. In my mind I would feel I would be hurting it.

Thanks everybody...but I'm I don't want to look like a fool on the price. Its always tempting to sell for as much as you can, but I'm put myself in the shoes of the buyer. Maybe thats wrong or stupid, seems I always end up paying more than I should, but as long as both of us are happy and the car goes to a good home , thats what its about.
Exhaust and engine are the same as USA cars...very few differences, daytime running lights, child seat anchors in the rear and maybe something else.
I have the manuals, and reciepts. Imported in US in 99
New clutch at 43k (bushings, seals, release lever shaft, flywheel seal)
New Belts, Filters 43k
Oil Change and DME relay

Spend the money and time taking it to STL or just sell it for $39k. The cars runs good now, I would rather have the next owner do it when they wanted to, and save a few thousand up front.
Time and money , your looking at close to $2000 to do everything. I don't wrench my own cars.

^Jason, I understand. Don't take it east to St. Louis, you want to go west to KC. I hear they have some really good aircooled guys there. The dealerships in St. Louis should never work on a 993.
