Default FS: 1996 C2 Red/Black-SOLD!

Selling the C2 to make room for another C2S Picked this up in Denver earlier this spring.

Car now has 101XXX miles.

Thought I’d list it here first before putting it on the general market.

Since I bought it the following has been completed:

Front Bumper Restored & Repainted
Front Bumper Plugs Added
Wheel Well Edges Repainted
Wheel Rims Restored & Repainted
New OEM Center Caps
Brake Calipers Restored and Repainted Red
OEM rear Split Grille and spoiler frame painted Red
Exhaust Tips Restored and Nickel Plated
Front and Rear Lloyds Carpets with Red Cresting
OEM Front seat Belts in Red
OEM Light weight wheel Lug Nuts (not installed)
New Headlight Light 3M Film (not installed)
Faded and Damaged 3M Film from Rear Fenders Removed
New Rear Fender 3M Film (not installed)
100K Mile Service
Added about 7000 miles since April 

Also Included:
Original spoiler grille and frame in Red & Black
Original black front seat belts
Original tool kit with air compressor
Engine Tray (not installed)
Extra DME Relay
Books and Service Records
Three keys (one jackknife style, two keyfob style)
Extra oil filter.

Everything works on the car and I’d not hesitate to drive it cross country. I’m picking up another 993 in CA so if you’re interested in this car and want it delivered (as in driven not shipped). I’d be happy to personally deliver it to a fellow Rennlister anywhere in the USA at no extra charge. My schedule is flexible, but I’d like to get to CA no later than mid July to pick up the C2S.

Last oil change was at 100K at Musantes Autosports in CT, a dedicated Porsche Indy. They noted no issues with the clutch or performance. There is some oil seepage around the timing chain covers, nothing that drips, would definitely replace gaskets at some point. Rear main seal is dry. There is some road wear around bottom right and left rocker panels, two minor scratches on the rear bumper, and some very small stone marks on the front hood.

I’m asking $27,500. I paid $24K for the car and put $5K into it in the last two months, I have all the receipts from the PO and the receipts since I’ve owned it. Clear title in hand.

Here’s the PO’s description of the car:

Here’s my update after buying it and putting some miles on it:

Does this transaction make the Rennlist Immediately Sold All Star list? That was blazingly fast.

I guess we know someone who is smitten with the wider hips.

No commission needed

I just want my buddy to get back into a Porsche so he can come out and play.

Congrats on sale and to new owner. I've been checking the site twice a day early morning and mid-afternoon for one like this, but still not often enough.

Thanks again, Tom is now in possession of the C2...he certainly is the real deal.....after all those years in his previous profession...he'd better be a straight shooter! I left him a token of my appreciation for your help; he very reluctantly took it.

I have every expectation he and I will be trading dollars for keys again in the future, except next time i'll be the one raiding my bank vault for one of those thoroughbreds in his P-Car stable
