993 Hardback K-K-K-kashmere Sport Seats on Ebay
I know some of you go ga-ga over these so have at it. Still $1500 more than I would spend and yet $1000+ under what others have forked...

Hmmm...wish I had a set of those. Oh, wait a minute...I think I do!
I have to say that these seats, aside from being desireable for the rarity and looks are so worth it on thier comfort and support alone. I bought this car in part just for the seats and glad I did. Someone from RL should pick these up.

Still cannot for the life of me understand what the appeal is. They're bling-bling seats, barely more supportive than stock comfort seats. The earlier model sport seats from the late 3.2's and 964's -- now those are terrific sport seats, both more comfortable and more supportive. But everyone's willing to pay thousands apparently for a piece of plastic on the back that says "PORSCHE" on it. A mystery to me.

I can't speak for 993 seats but I put Boxster/996 sport seats into my latest 993. They are significantly more supportive and comfortable than standard 993 seats. And, no, I don't care for plastic backs. I'd prefer it to not be plastic.

I have the these in Blue... Was considering getting selling them when I got the car. After first AutoX, immediately forgot that thought.... Worth every penny... IMHO that is.
Mike, see you Saturday @ Devens?

I believe a lot of the appeal is the looks. We do the same thing with the wheels we put on our cars. IMHO, these seats with painted seat backs make a major change in the looks of the 993s interior. 3K is a fair price if they are in a good condition. For a item worth that much more (a lot more) photos are in order.

When viewing the 993 HB sport seats for the first time ,"eyes" new they would be included in a long list of what if options when ordering a MY98 933.
Ended up ordering the HB sport seats with full electrics & heat; there real nice. IMHO the full leather + option, and the HB seats makes for a really understated 993 old sckool interior layout. Just the way I like...
But HB seat for $6-10 grand a decade later and used no less?? .... that's stupid money.

I had 'em in a C4 cab I used to own but didn't find them comfortable, was happy to let them go and put regular seats in the car. I think before investing big bucks in them, it would be good to do a seat test ... I'm about 6'1 and 185 lbs, for what it's worth. I find the regular seats just exactly perfect for me.
