All this universal love for Fisters is turning me off to them, big time. I don't want something that everyone else has. Anyone tried Tubi? I understand they are making mufflers for the 993 now.

Good point. With approx 60,000 normally aspirated 993s produced, there could be almost 300 of them with Fisters. That's almost half of one percent. Geez, everyone has them. Kinda like saying "with all the love for 993s, I think I'll sell mine and get a 996". To each their own though

I've had stock, Fabspeed maxflo's, and now RSR's on my 95 cab with 200 cell cats from DACH. RSR's are the best so far! Maxflo's didn't do it for me, had a Fabspeed muffler on my 79 SC that was fantastic, but the 993 mufflers not so much. Love my RSR's, Fister's could only be better!

Wow, what an impressive concensus for Fisters.
I'll be the black sheep here and claim that I actually prefer the sound of Fabspeed Maxflows (factory cats, drilled airbox) vs Fister III's. Personally, I've had the Fabspeeds for approx 10yrs, and I'm a happy clam. I must say though, I dig the Fister powder coated muffler tips.
Again, not saying anything negative about Fister and Darin (great guy, and I'm happy for his success), but truthfully, as I heard both side by side, I just liked the Fabspeed sound better. A bit deeper and overall more pleasing from my perspective.
Again, just one small voice here that I wanted to share on Fabspeeds. Sounds like if I were in a muffler market today, Fister III's would be the way to go.
Bty, I never liked RSR's - way too quiet.

One more vote for Fister. I have Fabspeed Maxflo + Dachs 200 cell sport cat X-pipes. The Maxflos are nice but not loud/agressive enough for me so I opted for Fister Stage III. Also had some fitting issues Fabspeed products in a few of my cars, which always frustrated me a bit.
I have a cab and w/ Fister IIIs on, my car is so loud and so absolutely aggressive, especially under WOT, that I've ordered Stg 2 from Darin as well to compare the difference. The aural experience at 5k RPM in 2nd & 3rd gear is unreal & the db level coming out of my exhaust is so intense w/ top down, I think I'd prefer a step down
I start my car in garage and photos fall off the wall in my house. Love it.
Anyone else running Fister III + Sport cats in a cab?
Darin, as others have said, has been an absolute pleasure to deal with.

I am trying to decide which exhaust to go with for the C2S. I had fabspeed with 200 cell cats on my 997 and loved the aggressive sound. It seems that from my searches the fister is the most popular here. I love an aggressive sound, so a stage three would be the only way to go if I went with fister. Does anyone have experience with both systems? How does the sound compare from one to the other?
Thanks,
Chris
Thanks,

I have seen some impressive HP/torque gains with the X pipe/cat bypass and Maxflows. You'd probably experience a similar gain with the FD Motorsports X pipes {I believe they now offer an X pipe}, cat delete and Stage III mufflers. Those pesky cats, stock or 200 cell, appear to stifle our engines.
