Fisters for sure. I have ceramic coated Fisters on my turbo, they sound great. Nothing but good experiances with FDM, top notch guys .
Has anyone ever measured how loud the Fister STG III's are in terms of decibels? In some states maybe they will be too loud to be allowed on the track? Especially when paired with sport cats...
Kika, I know FD's reputation and Darin actually did a great thing for me by sending me a Golden Rod just in time for install a few weeks ago. So getting anything from them is a non-brainer for me - great company, great guys! To put it in other words, they run their operations the same way I try to run mine. And that's the highest complement I can give to another business.
I was joking about the peer pressure, referring to the Slope. I don't much care about exhaust notes and am OK with stock mufflers on a street cab. But, given enough peer "input", I might reconsider I also have a drilled box, like you, and it sounds fine on the street. I heard an LPPM at an autocross a couple weeks ago and it sounded pretty good (I assume that's what Stage 1 sounds like?).
I'd love to hear comparative opinions of Stages 1 through 3 on the same car. If anyone had RSRs or original LPMMs before going to FisterDs, that would be great to hear as well.

Mike,
I wasn't knocking you. Yes, there are a lot of RLers with FDM exhausts, both Stage II and III, and even I encourage people to get them, even though I don't have them myself. On one hand, it IS a bit of peer pressure, but I was more suggesting that in this case the FMD exhaust is really a very good product, and worthy of widespread use.
In short, I don't view anyone that purchases either exhaust as giving in to peer pressure, but rather being a wise consumer and purchasing a quality item from a quality business.
My Fister Stage IIIs with black ceramic coating....mmmm, can't wait to get home and start the car. If I were a politician, I would be tweeting pictures of them
Had Fabspeed Maxflos on my C4S. Now have Fister III's! Fabspeeds had a nice mellow tone however did drone a bit at around 2700-2800 rpm. The stage III's sound gnarly!!!! Definately louder but not loud all the time. They sound especially cool when you restart the car after being warmed up. They have a great bark that leaves me smiling every time!!!
Kika, I know what you're saying. If I understand correctly, there are designed-in sound differences between different stages of FD mufflers. I'm curious what they are.
