Hidden relays and other components
In a recent search for the turn signal/flasher relay on my 1995 C2, I found a couple of other relays that are not in the front boot fuse/relay panel, nor the one in the engine bay.
Inside dash, left side, pull instruments to access:
964 618 103 00, instruments brightness control, smaller of two, toward front.
928 618 102 03, seat belt warning, taller one, toward rear.
Inside center console, access panel on R side:
1H0-953-227-M5206, turn signal/flasher relay.
Sometimes the shop manuals are a bit sketchy on where to find things. It would be helpful to build a list of components that are in unusual locations--can anyone add to this list?

They must have changed the location of the turn signal/flasher relay relay, as my '97's is in the trunk compartment way behind the driver's side hood hinge. Prominently marked "VW".

* as far as the Control Unit Instrument Light module goes, the electrical wiring diagrams show a transistor symbol indicating to me it is a solid state device.
Porsche's electrical wiring diagrams consist of 4 sets of wiring diagrams: 95 (early 1995), 95/2 (late 1995), 96 and 97-98.
