Thanks to all for the great supportive comments. I apologize if any of your wives read this thread.. It was intended for R-list eyes only.
I really have to give a big Thank You to MarkD for making this happen for me. There was no way in H-E-double-hockey-sticks that I could afford another 993. He is working with me on this so I could make my wife's dream come true. I also feel bad for him because he currently has no 911s at home to play with. He sold his turbo and now his cab in order to get his GT3. Hopefully it will arrive soon and all will be right with the world again.

I just saw the car in a parking garage this afternoon. It was in the perfect place: right at the top of an upward ramp, so that all the way up all you see is are those wide hips. It caught my eye, then I saw the plate and realized I "knew" this car. We all know the car is more than a decade old, but seeing it in the flesh, all lowered, clean and blu ... wow. A civilian could be excused for thinking the car is brand new. Gorgeous!
