Sway bar is a the dirty, not-entirely-correct common name we use. Purposely calling them stabilizer bars is just me being nitpicky. Can also call them anti-roll bars.

Big question on the reattachement is if the unbolted end slides right in when you're done adjusting the ride height. Not impossible for everything to be correct, but pretty rare.

I don't think there is any difference between springs being on the top VS bottom. From a basic physics standpoint it shouldn't make a difference, although some race veterans may know better.
Tonight I ended up going to the bar with some co-workers, so tomorrow I will disconnect front and rear stabilizer bars and see if anything changes. I doubt it, but this whole project is a learning experience.

When you "dial out "the difference in the front you will end up altering the diagonal rear also.

lmk if you end up on doing this. i wonder myself why the battery is on the driver side; would make sense for to be on the passenger side. at least they placed it down low. audi puts it up high right in front of the dash vs bmw down low in the opposite rear corner of the driver.

Are these still available for "loan/rent"?

I am over in San Marcos, and would love to borrow them for a bit!
Thanks!

PM sent,
CgFen also took them home for a little while. I love having them out of my garage .
Anyone who wants them are welcome to take them home for a week or two... or three!

Just a bump to try and get these used more.
Litesonic just corner balanced and did some height adjustments this weekend. The tools are once again available to borrow FOR FREE for as long as you need them.
There may be one other 944 on the list who wants to use them, If he takes them I will post to make a waiting list. These work for any vehicle with the same bolt pattern as our 993's.

In comfort, flexing a spring time will raise that area and increase the body weight it puts on the scale... helping to loosen a springtime will lower that area and decrease the body weight it puts on the scale....
