I dont really understand what the big deal is about non permanent mods. Even if he wanted to change the suspension to M030, add stage IIIs with wide ovals (keeping the stock mufflers and tips), put new wheels on it (keeping the stockers), RS wing, sides, front (again keeping the stock stuff) his car would look killer and can ALL be reversed.

What a beautiful car. Congratulations! I am glad to read that you refrain from extensive exterior modifications and agree that only reversible modifications should be performed on this car. Furthermore, a 993S should still look like one and not pretend to be a TT or GT2 that, on the engine side alone, it clearly is not on par with.
One could consider removing the bumperettes on front and rear bumpers and possibly change the front indicators from amber to clear examples. While being a factory part, the 993S did come with the amber ones as standard. The RoW model even featured the amber version on the rear indicators.
Other than that, a RoW suspension or similiar and oval exhaust tips might visually round off the car´s appearance. On the interior, the painted hardback sport seats sound tempting but would not work with a cream interior from my point of view.
As being said above, this is a classic example to restore and enjoy. There are dozens of less-than-perfect cars out there that are waiting to receive modifications.

Do you love all this advice
To answer some of the questions about why wouldnt you mod this, its because of the combination of color, year, model, and mileage. It's a rare 993, thats why it is worth $$$. If someone starts changing too much on a car like this, it loses its appeal at the higher price point. My opinion anyway...

The RS clutch/LWF with Rennsport ECU in addition to the wheels, exhaust, suspension and the Fister golden rod gets my vote. Also, if your going to do the suspension I'd add RS engine mounts. This would be a very tight package indeed.
