Much higher pitch than stock 993, or 993 with any kind of mufflers/cats/bybass etc. I've ever heard.
The reason for that is right pipe diameter (lot of stuff out there has IMO too large diam., equal length headers and exhaust gases "criss-crossing" after cats.

I used to have stock, then stock headers & cat with supercups, then stock headers with cat by-pass & supercups...

On track, I liked the cat by-pass & supercups and it was ok also on street but I didn't like the V8 "rumble" you get with that, noise itself didn't bother me, it was that "rumble" I wanted to get rid of.

Now with headers, race cats and no mufflers I'm really happy with it and everyone comments how different & cool it sounds.

Below a clip to give you an idea although it really doesn't do justice though since it's not under load.
(not to mention the tool who shot it was like 100 yards away...)

^^ Sweet Sound!

My 95 weighed 3020 lbs with 3/8ths tank of gas and 200 lbs of ballast in the drivers seat at my last corner balance. Take out the 200 lbs ballast + approx. 38 lbs of fuel and the car should be about 2782 lbs.

No spare, tool kit or front carpet, Corbeau A4 seats (-approx. 60 lbs vs stock electric seats)

thx for the clip flying finn. i'll try that setup out (race header to sport cat). i'm getting 200-cell cats put on shortly so i can get a smog test. was thinking of removing it and going back to my maxflo header setup but i'll see what sounds better. heck, if it sounds better, leaving the cat on helps the environment as well
any seat of the pants feeling in terms of performance running cat but w/o muffler vs w/o cat but w/ supercup?

Ok if we are showing off exhaust sound etc.....

On Installing this the following was removed:

mufflers - 27lb 10 oz
Headers - 22lb 12 oz
Cat bypass - 10lb 3 oz
Tips - 2lb 9oz
Donuts - 2lb 5oz

Total - 65lb 11oz

Added back

Fabspeed Headers - 19lb 10oz
Custom mufflers - 13lb 20z

Total - 32lb 12 oz

SAVING - ~33lb

I also took out the heater crossover and all the ducting taking out another 22lbs

So off the rear saved over 55lbs.

I will try and get the car weighed over the next few weeks and list everything...

I am down under 2800lb's I suspect, and have more to go.

2890 lbs with 1/2 tank of fuel. Did most of the same things as the OP, except I started with a heavier car! Other differences are:

AWD delete.
All GT2 parts are PMS. Tail and risers aren't light.
Doors and hood are aluminum.
Don't believe my cage is chromoly.

They were the original doors on the second GT2 Rohr Racing (porschemeister) had. Those early racers had alu doors with side beams from the factory. Most were changed when sanctioning bodies began requiring side intrusion protection. It was easier/cheaper/lighter to install GF/CF doors than butcher up the originals to add the bars. ANDIAL, who was virtually PMSNA in those days, "knew a guy" and the doors came to blackie's PO Jimmy the Felon. Been there ever since.
