1. Can't take good pics with the sun overhead.
2. I have not driven a Porsche since the end of April. I had to go for a ride.
3. I love the synchronized posts. A new Olympic sport perhaps. Definately more challenging than synchronized swimming.
4. My car was out of commission from 4/27. My state inspection ran out in May. I have to do the OBD II test drive to get my car through inspection. This is always fun. I have one SAI port that is plugged and I throw a CEL every thousand miles or so. So far everything checks out O'K except for the SAI which is inc.
5. Here are the pics. The rocker panels are BLUE again. I had worn away most of the paint on them. The stone guards are SMOOTH. They haven't been hit by any stones yet. WOW. There is no residual bug goo anywhere on the front of the car. Is it really mine? The light goes on when the drivers door is opened, and the door check strap checks the door again.
Oh yeah. The $3400 is what I paid in addition to the $12,000 the insurance company paid. LOL! I had been talking with the shop about painting the car and they wanted $8500 for the job, which would have included some new foglights and a new front bumper cover. I got a used bumper cover and fog lights. I got the price down to $6500. I had them do the bumper cover and lights. Then I got hit. The collision got the front and rear bumper covers, and a little damage to the 4 fenders. Since they were painting a good part of the car, I paid them $3400 for the rest of the car.
Tomorrow night I have a road trip. I'll go and kill some bugs, catch some stones. WTF. It's a car and I'm going to drive it.

Rich, you should include a pic of the odometer as well. Your car looks fantastic. Enjoy it. Though you may have enjoyed your 993 more than any other person on the Board already. That's a great thing.
