SOLD
I have a steering wheel problem. When I had my cab I went through 5 or 6 different steering wheels. On the turbo I started out with the stock four spoke then put in the Atiwe 340mm 3-Spoke wheel I had kept from the cab. Wanting to get back to a period correct stock look I had a 4-spoke wheel worked on by CarsDream in Poland. I had them put perforated leather on sides, smooth leather on top and bottom, had the steering wheel thickened, Hand Grips added and Silver stitching.
Life was good….. until I decided I “needed” a leather airbag with the stitching. I shopped hard and found one a steering wheel with a leather airbag on Craigslist. Unfortunately, it was from an early 993 and the airbag and my steering wheel weren’t a match. Easy fix…. I shipped the steering wheel that came with the leather airbag off to Poland for some work.
So now I have two modified 993 4 spoke steering wheels; one with a leather airbag and one with a vinyl one. I am going to sell the one with the vinyl airbag. Before I list it on eBay or Craigslist I wanted to offer it here. I am asking $430. I paid $100 for the steering wheel and airbag from a Rennlist brother and $330 for the modifications and shipping. I’ll take care of the shipping cost.
Here is a link to the original posting when I got the wheel. I have put 150 miles on the wheel and it is in new condition.

I hunted up an OEM leather airbag and added it after the original install of the modified wheel. IMHO, it made a big difference in the looks. The stitched airbag just matches the wheel well. CarsDream does not recover airbags.

Chuck,
You have had your 2nd wheel for a while now. Has there been any change in feel or appearance? Any wrinkling or twisting? How any miles now?
Thx,

Great all around. No issues at all, they both look and feel as good as the day I installed them. I am guessing 2,000 miles on the Boxster and 10,000 miles on the Tundra.
