Default A/C Differences 1995 vs 96-98

I have noticed the different A/C hose routing with the 96 to 98 993 when compared to the 1995 model. What are the major differences in the two systems?

More importantly are there any functional differences? Is one version likely to cool better?

Thanks in advance

Gary, it is my understanding that the a/c system is the same for all models 95-98. The hose was changed in 96 due to the varioram manifold. I had a 95, and replaced the engine bay hoses with ones from a 97. It cleaned up the appearance, and gave me the option of adding a varioram, but I ended up starting another project.
