granted you would have to put more money into the car, but if you fix that seepage issue, i'm sure it will sell for a lot more (people start to discount and bargain due to the unknown). but regardless that's an excellent price!

Thanks again everyone for all the kind words and all the great tips! This is an awesome forum! My beautiful 993 is no longer mine!!
I really hope I'll someday be fortunate enough to own such a beautiful machine once again! I sure hope this economy gets better!
Cheers everyone!!

Looks like your car is up for sale by Luxury Automotive Wholesalers out of Illinois. I wonder if they fixed that oil seepage issue, or if they are just trying to turn a quick 10k profit . . . .

I think we know the likely answer to your question. A very nice looking car. Even better at $42K.

Yeah I was wondering where I would see the car again? I was looking at different websites for high end cars but didn't even think it would show up on eBay. I just wonder why the buyers have to make up stories like, "I'm buying it as a weekend car to take to the Hamptons.". I mean I guess some wouldn't sell to a car broker but at the end of the day, I need the cash so if someone, especially an out of Califoria (buyer) so I don't have to do smog then so be it. I even told the guys who bought it, hey maybe you guys could help me buy a car when I'm ready again to own a Porsche...this was of course before I "officially" knew the 993 was being bought by a dealer/broker!
Either way, the final end user will have a blast with that car for many many years...just like I did!!!
Thanks for finding it for me jnoble!!

So this is exactly like the dealer story I reported on last week ....

Oh well, too bad a middle man is involved, and not a true 993 man.
