I went with the KLA brace. http://www.klaindustries.net/ Good fit and price. I don't race, but it seemed like a good idea to add a little extra bracing to the Targa.

haygeebaby,
I have the real GT2 EVO bar made by Matter sitting in my garage waiting to be installed. My mechanic and I both think the bolts are a bit short for the nuts to be totally seated ( as shown in your pictures ).
Glad you have had no issue with it !
Would like to hear from others regarding this........
Does anyone have experience putting in longer bolts and know the size, length and where to get them?

Targatango has longer screws - you might want to pm him. But his car has a lot of mods - I beleive he has a lot of GT2 suspension stuff in there, and a 9meister 3.8. Lovely car.

I thought of putting in new shock mount flanges with longer screws but was not keen on the added cost. Since the current method has not had a problem over the last 6 months, its given me the confidence to stay with it.

Regards
