If you have a warning light, access to an OBDII tester would definitely be the first step. Otherwise you'll have no idea what the problem is or may be.

i hooked up an ODBII and it showed nothing for the airbag. I had a weird missfire in cylinder 4 earlier in the week, ( hoping due to really wet weather in Boston and not warming the car in the morning long enough), but nothing showed up on reader for AB. The Duremetric did show previous info using SW version 6, but when I tried using version 5, then it said it could not establish connectivity to controller.
