BBS LM - reverse mounting the centers

Hey Justin, I literally mounted my new BBS LM's on my narrow body 993 (same color as yours) yesterday. I ordered them through Wheel Enhancement and they are 18x8.5" ET56 and 18x10" ET65, IIRC the fronts are not available in 8" widths anymore. I had given some thought to reverse mounting the centers but after I received them and test fit them on the car I came to the conclusion that they would not fit, especially the fronts. Here is a pic with 7mm spacers on the rear, no spacers on the fronts, the rear tire width is 275:

If you are referring to mine, thanks, I just wanted to clarify that it's actually Polar Silver for those looking into getting the same wheels.

bumping this thread as my LM's just arrived and I'm starting the research of reverse mounting them. @Nurburger , did you reverse mount the bolts yourself? Did you trim the lip on the face that some shops say they need to?

Hello all,
I’ve got a set of sport classic II Dimensions of sport classic II I have.
I did add spacers but being the rim narrower that standard the tire profile is pretty fatty and is more likely to rub fender.
That’s why I’m asking if it’s possible to transfer the OEM face on a custom 11J x18 rim in the rear?
Any company that does this custom rim service?
im based in FL.
what other solution can I have to keep the OEM rim design?

Hi. No. Maybe . Unless you can get some one to make you a barrel that is exactly the same but wider and you use the original basket . No can do. If you’re feeling brave and want to dig deep you could make these a 3 piece conversion. All the money!!

I was asking because I think I can met new wider but with same base barrel so I can install the face.
I'd be happy to eclpore this scenario.,
who makes this service?

The sport classic 2 was available in 18x10 (along with a corresponding 18x8), might take some searching to find a pair in good condition but they do exist. Can use the 18x9 in front but might rub at times.
