Default Fiberglass RS Tail install questions

On a FG RS tail, do the plastic nubs/tabs on the top black (OE) grill fit in the holes of the tail via pressure fit or should they be held in with the clamping washer (p/n 999.591.390.02)? (grill p/n 993.512.587.00)

Personally I would suspect it (the grill) would be held on with clamping washers but on my tail the FG is too thick to allow the tabs to go through far enough to grab with the clamping washer. My options seem to be either cut/grind a countersink hole or cut the edges of the grill to allow it to sit further in the tail (hence allowing more of the tab to fit through the tail).

Just to show what I'm talking about here's a photo.

I wish I had taken a "big picture" photo of the whole tail and grille together but..

OK, took the tail over to Mike's (ArenaRed993) today and he agrees with me that the grill should be attached with the clamping washers as shown in the photo above. Means I have some Dremel work to do on both the grill and the wing.
