Default Dash light help.

OK. I've done a search, several actually, and can't find information on the bulbs that illuminate the warning lights.
There is tons of info on LED's for the dash illumination, but I need the bulbs that light up the warning lights, and the one that illuminates the onboard computer.

Thanks,
Emerald

If you have an unlit onboard computer (OBC) display you will probably find that it's not a bulb failure, but a circuit board issue. I've tried a bulb replacement in mine without success and then found burn marks on the circuit tracks that control the illumination. The latter is well known written about. Some guys have issues with missing characters or no display at all and that's been traced to transistor failure on the circuit board. However, for a failed backlight, one chap on this forum (or the 993 turbo one) posted a fix involving bridging the problem tracks with wire - I'll (or rather my local indie) will be trying that next.

I guess I won't know till I get in there. I can read it during the day, so I know it is working.

Thanks,
