Thumbs down

Well, that was my honest reaction, and I probably should've kept it to myself. I too actually think Ruf wheels are one of the best looking wheels to go on a 911.

As to your thread example-I stand by my comments. You came on to the 911 board selling heat exchangers you "heard" were an upgrade for a 911. The fact is, they do not work without modification, and a person new to 911's most certainly would not have known that based on your original posting of what you "heard" to be an upgrade.

All,

This is certainly not the first time this has happened. Here's an example of Ed working his magic on one of my FS threads:

I really wish this guy would have bought a 996 so he could pollute their forum instead........

Really? Here's one of your responses from that thread:

"I'd rather have headers, I believe."

That's pure opinion with no basis is fact or application. And who cares what you'd rather have!! Perhaps you should focus less on your post count and instead focus on creating posts which actually have value to the forum.

Well, based on my experience, I would rather have headers on my 3.2. That is through experience with application and fact. By the way, most of my post count has been thru technical contribution, much of them through my engine build threads, etc. Although, I have wasted 2 of my slotted posts responding to your drivel.

I've seen no contribution here from you.

Not only are you wrong, but you're stupid. You need only look at the link in my sig as well as numerous other posts by me to see what I contribute on a technical basis.

As for you, the vast majority of what you contribute is, in fact, drivel.

Either way, none of your personal attacks on me change the fact that you have no business opining on FS threads when an opinion is not solicited by the OP. Is that simple enough for you? As for my FS thread, there are clear advantages (as pointed out by other more knowledgable posters on that thread) to 3.6 headers for earlier 911s.

Get it through your head - none of us gives a crap about your opinion of FS items.

If you have a problem with me, take it offline.

To the OP, I really apologize I allowed myself to be drug into the mud here. Good luck with your sale.

PS, the build of my 911 speaks for itself.

May be I am interpreting wrong but I thought the "yikes" referred to the weight of the wheels and indeed they are heavy. Period.
But I personally truly love the looks...
