Default RS Splitters split:(

The Philly roads claimed another victim yesterday. I hit a pothole that swallowed my left front tire and crushed the splitter. (It appears that I cannot buy just one.) I have been doing some research and it appears that there are alternatives to replacing the splitters with a pair made of polyurethane. I'm asking for feedback from anyone who has gone this route such as source, degree of prep for painting etc. I'm pretty sure these did not come from the factory, so I'm not freaked about replacing them with aftermarket product. TIA

I don't have them but I can fully understand you not wanting to pay top dollar for OEM ones.
When I hit a pot hole it's like the struts going to shoot through the front fender! It's a bloody horrible sound.

@joe: did you have them painted and then installed them? Did you install yourself? If so on a scale of 1-5, how hard?

I have the MA shaw splitters and the GT3Tek skirts.

when the shaw fiberglass ones need to be replaced, I will get the GT3Tek poly ones.

on a scale of 1-5 5 being hardest, they were 1 to install a long as you have a lift, otherwise a 2.

I had mine done while I was getting some other work done, so I cannot address installation difficulty.

Not bad to install, but I would suggest test fitting it first. Once you know you have good fitment, then have them prepped and painted.
