Brake Issue/Driving Question

Brake Issue/Driving Question
Hello. I have recently found out that my front calipers need a rebuild (thanks again to everyone who talked me out of replacing them). My question is this: I wanted ot take the car out tomorrow for a drive to meet up with a friend. It would be around 80 miles round trip, mostly highway. Is it okay to drive the car? The caliper issue can be felt when at a stop on a slight incline, if I take my foot off the brake the car does not roll back. I see no discoloration on the rotor and don't feel any pulling or any other signs of the faulty caliper. As always your input is always much appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris

If it was me, I wouldn't drive it. Best case, nothing happens, Typical case, the piston in the caliper hangs up, you wear out the brake pad and score a rotor. Or turn a rotor blue from overheating... now you can add a replacement rotor to your caliper rebuild costs.... Worst case, brake locks on and you have an accident or need a tow. Not worth the risk in my opinion, but I have other cars to choose from if one is out of action for repair. YMMV

Thanks Dan I actually decided the same and left the car at home today. I have a daily driver it's just a nice drive and it's always tempting to take the 993. The car is going in on Tuesday for the caliper rebuild so it won't be too much longer.
