That color is killing me, I would love to see it with my own eyes. Almost hits a gray/purple hue in the shadows. Like it was polar silver mix very wrong in a good way.

I don't think the WB should hurt this cars sale. It is not like the old 930 that was usually done half *** due to the swing arm geometry.

This look like seal gray to anyone?

if this is a one owner car it could benefit the sale to help fetch 25-27k.

Three owners. 3rd owner (seller) has had it for eight years. Records since 2003. Again, seller seems very responsive and detailed over e-mail.

Interior is dark blue though. Not sure about that color with the grey exterior.

Seems like a nice car for the money if it's been done right and runs/drives good and has a clear title, etc.

well, collectively we have almost all drooled over cars with flares BOLTED on...haven't we?

If this car presents well, the quality of the work is acceptable, PPI, etc...that's a decent car for that money isn't it?

I agree with CalvinC4S, that color looks very interesting. I thought a subtle purple, lilac in there too.

Rennfax by a local?

One has to wonder WHY the PO decided to replace the rear end of the car with WB bits. It would be logical if the rear end of the car needed replacement for some reason. Like it went backwards into a wall, for instance.

What, specifically, is wrong with leaving standard (non-930) trailing arms on a wide body conversion torsion bar chassis?

The mounting location on the torsion bar is diffrent so you are stuck with narrow body suspension off set with massive spacers. Looks like $hit IMO.
To each there own.

EDIT: This is not an issue with the 993. If that panel work was done well, this car should be gone in no time.

I love how the seller said that it handles better in corners. What gauge was used to determine that? I'm always amazed by the statements that sellers make. I've owned MANY cars in my 20 years on the road and I'd be lying if I said that I could feel this or that... Sounds like a car salesman to me...

A 1" spacer? Plenty of factory cars are so equipped. One way around is a positive offset wheel, which is about an inch for a typical offset replication for an 11X15 from an early 2.8RSR.

The inner pivot is shorter on a 930 (or late steel RSR) arm, and it gives different anti-dive/squat characteristics. This may or may not be advantageous, depending on the purpose of the chassis. The outer mount, where the spring plate attaches to the torsion tube, is the same.

Maybe it would work for a rsr type duplication. But a late 80's factory wide body look? Looks like a kit car done like this.

Some people, not many, will use a jig to move the inner torsion tube mounts to be able to use the turbo suspension, I like this but it is very very rare.

EDIT: Here is an example of trying to fill a torsion bar car conversion with wheel offset. Not my cup of tea, but many like it.
